The sun rose this morning, and DMX is in trouble: He's about to lose an NYC townhouse because he wouldn't shill for a line of dog clothes. Allow us to explain: The rapper lost a lawsuit earlier this month, reports the New York Post, and to pay for the judgment against him for $281K, his Fifth Avenue townhouse is being auctioned off August 13. He was sued back in 2004 by Amusing Diversions for breach of contract because he didn't promote their doggy line as agreed.
He was just arrested in Miami for driving with a suspended license.
